“During COVID-19, while Play Center was closed, we were so grateful for the Play Center’s presence on Facebook because we were able to follow them and receive Activity Kits. We especially liked the nature explore one. The binoculars took both of my kids on amazing adventures and now we always bring them along on our outdoor excursions. We were excited for Play Center to open again and once it did, we became involved in Play Center to socialize the children with other kids that were not relatives. It also gave me (the mother) a way to socialize with adults. Play Center gives us a reason to leave the house 3 days a week. My daughter has been to Play Center before COVID-19 and loved it. I was excited to bring my son to Play Center for the first time. He was, initially, very shy and clinging but after a few weeks of going daily he has definitely gotten more social and braver exploring the center and seeing other people. There are so many different toys and options for the kids to play and explore at Play Center. They learn something new every time we go. I also appreciated getting the ASQ done for my children especially now in COVID-19 when doctors’ offices are hard to get the kids into. The screenings are always so helpful and full of information.”
