Earlier this month, First 5 Humboldt Executive Director, Mary Ann Hansen, spoke before the Assembly Budget Subcommittees 1 & 2, and the Select Committee on Early Childhood, about the importance of early childhood mental health. Humboldt has a long history of advocating for early childhood mental health, and this month’s work builds on the work of First 5 Humboldt and our partners. The panel presentation grounded its comments in this recently released report, which features First 5 Humboldt programs.
